A contemporary wisdom school
As organized religion has receded from the cultural center, where do we go now to make meaning? Where do we sit with the deepest questions in a way that is resonant, relevant, explorative and free of dogma?
The Museion is one such place. Not a space that pretends to have certain answers to complex questions. A space to be together in the exploration of the edges of our knowledge.
The name comes from the ancient Greek Museion, the institution dedicated to the Muses, from which the modern museum eventually descends. Before “museum” meant a building for objects, it meant a place where philosophy, art and wonder were held together. The Museion holds them together again.
Built for independent minds, for the intellectually hungry and the adventurous: founders, artists, creatives, scholars. Anyone who has outgrown generic spiritual spaces that lack depth and purely head-centred lectures that ignore the richness of embodiment. It is for people who want intellectual rigour and experiential, embodied practice in the same room. And to be in a resonant community that inspires and expands.
Wisdom schools that stay in the head are just lectures. The Museion is experiential: actual journeys, embedded into daily life. Gatherings, cohorts, retreats, pilgrimages and long-form writing. A space where meaning is made in community.
Tracing the root
This name emerged from my etymological explorations. I discovered that the root of museums is Muse — they are temples devoted to the Muses! Even music is the art led by the Muse.
And this is why I love tracing back roots. They sometimes reveal what we have forgotten. And that can also inspire new possibilities — what could be again.
Earlier versions of museions, such as The Museion of Alexandria, were not galleries of dead objects — they were living sanctuaries of wisdom. Spaces where a community of philosophers, poets and scientists explored together. I love this vision. And I want it back.

About me
I'm Laura Cincera, writer, facilitator and somatic explorer fascinated by the magic in the mundane.
I've led transformational programs at Google, impacting over 13 million people, and my work has been recognised by Forbes 30 under 30.
Currently, my work lives between art, somatics, pedagogy and philosophy. I am certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1 and 2) and hold a Diploma in Neurosomatics. My artistic research practice spans collective ritual, performance and visual arts. I enjoy exploring how beauty and enchantment can act as critical tools for reimagining otherwise.
